Director of student events for the university

In my approach, I was focused on creating lasting relationships, brand deals, talent agency connections, & local business relationships that would help the university grow in future years

As the director, I was in charge of:

Coordinating the events for the entire year and handling the event calendar
Curating the event direction and handling budgets accordingly
Developing stage designs, production plans, venue layouts, and sponsorship opportunities
Curating all branding, marketing, and digital assets
Handling all contracts with the production/content teams, talent agencies, artist fees, etc
Large-scale concerts, tailgates, student radio station hangouts, student spirit week activities, welcome back week, finals week de-stressors, alumni donation drive dinners, and more

Project highlights include:

Booking Snakehips & Party Favor for the biggest Spring Fling show NMSU has had to date
Booking MadeinTYO weeks before his hit single reached top 10 in the world
Partnering with Red Bull for one of the tailgates of the year according to VICE tv.
Bringing over $100k worth of business to Paradigm talent agency after booking 10+ artists

The results were rocket-ish

Based on the research, I created wireframes to map out the new website's layout and navigation. These wireframes were then reviewed and refined with the company's stakeholders to ensure they aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Design

With the wireframes as a guide, I got to work on the design of the website.

I kept the design clean and modern with a focus on making it easy for users to navigate and find the information they need.

I also incorporated the company's branding to give the website a cohesive look and feel.

Webflow Development

With the design complete, I moved on to development using Webflow. This allowed me to create a responsive website that looks and functions great on all devices. I also integrated various features such as a contact form and live chat to make it easy for users to connect with the company.

Final

The end result was a website that was easy to navigate and provided a great user experience. The website received positive feedback from users and the company saw an increase in user engagement and conversions.
